HOUSE VOTE 158, AMDT. #2, H.R. 4089: SPORTSMEN'S HERITAGE ACT
On April 17, 2012 the House voted on an amendment to the Sportsmen's Heritage Act -- a bill to promote and expand access to hunting opportunities on federal lands -- that would have exempted units of the National Park System from the bill. The amendment, sponsored by Rep. Rush Holt (NJ-12) was rejected by a vote of 260 nays-152 yeas. A YES VOTE IS THE CORRECT VOTE.
